CABLEGNOSIS Results Presented at EEEIC 2026
CABLEGNOSIS results were presented at the EEEIC 2026 Conference, held in Lisbon, Portugal, in July 2026, showcasing the project’s work on advanced fault diagnosis approaches for modern power systems.
Project partners from the University of Cyprus presented the paper “AI-Driven Fault Diagnosis Scheme for Power Systems Using PMU Measurements”, focusing on the fault diagnosis schemes developed within CABLEGNOSIS and their application to Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) measurements.

The presented work explores the use of artificial intelligence techniques combined with high-resolution synchrophasor measurements to support the detection and diagnosis of power system faults. By leveraging PMU-based measurements, the developed approaches contribute to the analysis of power system disturbances and the advancement of data-driven fault diagnosis methods.
